Introduction

The TM372++ is an upgraded version of the TM372 Sample Counter. Along with the ability to count alpha particles, the TM372++ is also equipped with a Geiger-Müller tube for detecting gamma radiation and an internal pump with an adjustable flow rate for collecting radon progeny and dust samples. In addition to these new functions, the TM372++ can do an automated count using the Rolle method and communicate with a Bluetooth enabled device. This Bluetooth connection allows the user to not only control the TM372++ with a phone, but also directly import measurements into a database.

The device has also been upgraded to include a membrane switch keypad and a larger 5-digit LED. The keypad now allows the user to enter a range of count times, display the time remaining during the count, toggle the display between alpha and gamma readings, and much more. Read the TM372++ User's Manual for a more detailed description of the device.
